    Yes and sounded very much like Elvis. He passed away at a young age due to cancer.

    When Cream broke up.
    It was mentioned Rory Gallagher should play with Jack and Ginger. Same was said about the Experience with Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding.
    Like when the Stones offered him to replace Mick Taylor, he graciously said no.
    Hell even David Coverdale wanted him to be interviewed to replace Ritchie Blackmore in Deep Purple.
    He did it his way.
