When I had the front seat reupholstered (a fantastic job by New England Trim btw) they found a build sheet stuffed inside the seat. Today I removed the rear seat in order to route some cabling for a backup camera and rear speakers. Tucked under the rear seat cushion was another build sheet. Out of curiosity I Googled the dealer and came up with a forfeited business name registration. Nothing at the address looking like a dealer now either. Shame. That would have been interesting to go visit them after 47 years.
I've also found a cheat sheet of handwritten notes on brown craft paper pitched under the rear seat. Maybe Fischer body ? It had interior color code, console, and 8 track codes.
U found a build sheets? I found a small coke bottle (6 oz.?) in the bottom of the driver's door on my 1970 Chevelle that I ordered. Solved the door rattle. Also found a squished paper coffee cup under the rear seat bottom. Go figure?
My Wilmington built 68 GS has given up 2 complete build sheets also. Fortunately that is common with Wilmington cars...… Congrats, its a cool piece of history for your car...
All the details match the car and I just checked and it is a duplicate of the sheet previously discovered. One nice result is each sheet adds details lost on the other due to stains and tears. The only other treasures found were a quarter and a pair of nail scissors. Apparently Anchor Motor Freight are still operating today. http://www.anchormotorfreight.com/ Cheers Bob
Don’t put it in your pocket. You’ll mix it in with the others and it would just be another coin. Witch it is... No country for old men. Quote. lol
