IMG_20200523_133807.jpg Man, I'm starting to wonder if my hurst ratchet shifter had anything to do with this? I was never really happy with the cable bracket and shifter linkage angle due to the thick flange on the aluminium pan. I had to adjust the cable numerous times. Not a fan of the set up or confident it was all spot on. I think I'm going to put the column shift back in it..

Get a B&M slap/ratchet shifter they're pretty good and solid. Here's mine, you have to zoom in to see it. If you want better pics let me know.

Thanks dude, yeah I hear good things about them. I'm diggin the lokar muscle car floor shifter with the rod actuation instead of cable.

Got the car back on the road. I ended up reusing the converter and cooler as they are only a year old. I did the best I could to flush them and added a remote filter. I also put the stock shifter back in but had to dent the crap out of the drivers side longtube header to clear the back drive. IMG_20200603_182856.jpg
    So far so good
