Hello all. I've been coming to this site for almost two years and finally decided to join. I have a 1970 skylark that we call the CBOS (pronounced see-boss) which stands for clunker bucket of ****.... I took out the 73 350 that came with the car and dropped in a 73 455. I've put airbags in the springs, mini spool in the rear which has 2.56 gears (yikes!), and MT ET streets. The best it's run is 10.07 in the eighth lol. This is with the $400 big block that I have made no modifications to so I'm sure the quadrajet and HEI need to be rebuilt and set up properly. The car: it has black interior with a bench seat. The paint code says it was originally aquamist (I have come to love this color). The car currently has three different colors and 72 front end with 72 rear bumper.
