Does anyone know if I can directly swap the backing plates and finned drums from a 70 GS directly in place of stock front drums and backing plate on a 70 Skylark? Does anything else need to be changed? I thought it would be a cheap brake upgrade for my car. Thanks, Ed

I believe the plates are the same.and the drums are just aluminum instead of iron. The distribution block and master are the same. So I say go for it. I roll aluminums on my '70 GS and I am more than happy.
