Looking for used aftermarket Front sway bar for ‘72 Skylark. Ideally 1.125” bar with all bushings and end links

I have a brand new one in the shop I took in on trade. Let me check size and pricing tomorrow. I have all the bushings and hardware in stock also.

    Price will be below retail!

  3. I bought one from summit racing and shipping was free. They have all sizes.

Oh, I know that most anything is available. At about $200 + however.

Actually, hoping to convert it to be used on my ‘60 LeSabre - the stock one is quite small. Looking into if I can narrow a Skylark bar by cutting down the legs

The Trans Am bar is same as Skylark/GS?

Can you put a caliper on it to confirm size?

I have an A body Hotchkis rear bar, used, from a friend. FOR FREE!!! So I am ahead there.

I’m starting to lay out the lower control arms for the new triangulated 4 bar rear suspension. A 3/8”x 1.5” bar will be welded to the arms - just eyeballing the angles right now

I can make a front A body bar work, but the frame width is different so I would have to add supports to the LeSabre frame. The A body front sway bar is too wide and deep. But, if I cut portions of the legs off and weld the end link eyelets back on it will work. I’ve talked to a few metals guys and since the heat is just on the ends not in the parts of the bar that move torsionally it should be fine.
