My thought on that is prehaps many of the guys that would want to take part would be entered into the show and couldnt take off to do a time run then the race pass. and I know Sat is a full day.
they show a gamblers race in the schedule for Wed & Thur but they never seem to hold one. Hope to have one at least Thursday.

What I was asked to do was make it a 50/50 deal to help Clifton Love pay for some of his medical expenses. If you didnt know he was diagnosed with cancer several months ago . He'll be having his last chemo treatment on the Friday morning of the Nats then making the trip to sell parts. Cliff sets up in the big red trailer under the oak tree near turn 2 of the circle track. I'd like to see us pull together and see what we can come up with.
The gamblers race needs to be publicized and announced more at the track, never heard it over the loud speaker once last year.

Probably because the guy and his daughter that were running the lanes were tired... Just kidding around. Sounds good to me. I'm not sure I know who Clifton Love is. Is he on the boards or a long time GSCA member?
Yes long time member and a Nationals faithful. Always has a trailer full of parts with him. has a pretty bad assed car also. I cannot take the lead on running this. will be busy with other commitments. I'll race if I can.
