1.83 for premium, but it might be down to 1.78 for Mobil (which is all I use)... plus a bottle of octane boost

    Wow,

you would think that since we own the largest oil field in the world the price would drop quicker for everyone.

When I saw gas on Fri, Sat [reg 87 at 1.25] and still dropping I knew good things are in sight.

I filled up before the weekend when reg was 1.27 and ultra 94 was a 1.51

The mileage and performance makes ultra 94 worth a 1.50 a gallon easy.

FYI, sunoco cheap 86 is really 87.3, they can not make it any lower. 87.3 is as low as it gets. all of them are under rated big time.

Also gas from state to state or even county to county can be like apple's and orange's. Each can have it own set of crazy laws. I saw a big show about it and was shocked how much it can change cause of the laws in just a few miles. That is also why it can cost more in one area. I think they said they make something like 1500 different kinds of gas to meet everyones needs / laws.

Paying a $1.83 for Sunoco 93 except on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when they discount 5 cents.

    93 huh,

    We got 86 87 89 94 at sunoco
    other stations 87 89 92

the 86 is the big catch price as it a penny cheaper than anyone's gas but is really 87.3

$2.85 for leaded 100 avgas - when you show up with a can at the airport, just tell them "It IS for a plane - I ran out and landed over THERE!"

I forgot to say, 20 minutes outside of where I live in VT Gas is roughly 10-20 cents cheaper per level... almost worth taking the drive (since its a nice drive anyway)

Here in nor-cal (SF Bay Area) the cheapest regular is about $1.81 and super is $2.01. We also can get no better than 91 octane for super. Many of the higher priced (Chevron, Shell) have just come down under $2.00 for regular though.

Chevron and Shell are the cheapies around here... only carried at the various 24 hour quicky marts and never run quite as good as the Mobil/Hess/Citgo...
