No. Nothing new. Car got finished, went to the Nats, then other very time consuming other interests interfered. Not sure when or if I can get back to this any time soon.

Any update? I'd be in for a pair as well. You did outstanding work on the first set, I'd imagine them only getting better by familiarity and faster to replicate. Doug

I would be interested in a pair or two also if these get produced.

I regret I have not got back to this. With work and some other non-car related functions I'm involved with, I just haven't had time.

I will be bringing my car to the Nats again this year, stop by and check them out. Maybe a little in-person persuasion might get the fire lit under me to maybe make a few sets.

looks like he was scared away with all this talk about OEM look and fitment. hell I just wanted something that would compliment all the money I have put into my interior, who wants a couple of thousand dollars in the interior and have broken and painted, and glued repaired armrest base if you can find them. Looking on ebay a couple of nights ago. Someone had 4 of them in really bad shape for $52 one was in broken in half this is my choice. Me I'll take what ever Jim can produce

I'm in need of a set of 14" Armrest bases for my 67 GS project. I have access to 3D printing tools through my work, but what i do not have is a drawing or sample of the 14" armrest base to work from. Wasn't sure if there were drawings from this Aluminum Project, or if someone had a 14" armrest base of these that i could borrow for modeling purposes.

I think 3D printing and then chrome plating is a viable option and i'm happy to share the model and printing information with the forum after.

All i need to work on this is a part sample. I should only need it for about a week to do the modeling.

Anyone willing to ship me one? I'll send it right back when done...

I only made the one prototype set for my car. I don't have any plans to make any others at the present time.

Did you get a sample to work with for the 3D printed version? I have a set of four for my 1967 Olds Cutlass Four Door that are the same style as the 1964 Buick Skylark.

Aluminum or engineered composite: either are better than brittle and cracked.

Well you did ship it to a new member. Im curoius what a 3d printer can do. Pretty cool with new tech we can reproduce new parts for old cars.
