Here are some Pictures of my ongoing restoration. We still need to do some front bumper adjustments, and misc odds and ends. I should be completely done (minus the GSX stripes) by the GS nats this spring!!:beer

No matter which way that you go it will be impressive in my opinion:TU: .I would leave it white(stripes could be added at any time) and maybe remove the emblem from the grill also, just for stealth.I can't remember seeing a solid white car with such an imposing stance in a long time, most that I recollect are early and mid '60's.Looking forward for its debut pictures:beer .

67Fitz is right.. It's your car, do what you want.. I would think if this car is a true GSX, or (clone) then the stripe would be the way to go.. espicially with all the $$ you have invested. However.......the color/stance/spoilers/ really looks awesome the way it is now. I have an Alpine white 71 convertible doing a full frame off and love the color.. The only difference is my car has a green roof and interior.

    Good luck.

    Nice ride,

Nice looking car with or without stripes. Hope to see it in person around Bowling Green or at Beech Bend. :beer

I am going to add the front spoiler as well, still need to do bumper adjustments. I look forward to some fun times this summer. I bought the car 2 and 1/2 years ago, drove it a couple of months, then took it apart. It's nice to have it back together again--I might get in it today, if the rain will steer clear of KY.
I have some before/during restoration pics that I'll try to post from my work computer. The car is orginally a 10/19 paint code GS 350. I went throught the original engine--added some goodies:3gears: , and then started on the car. I doubt it will ever be done in my eyes, but that will give me a reason to tell my wife I'm can't sell it.:Brow:

I think all white looks sweet...
    But I like stripes too...

I guess that doesn't help you...either way it looks great!

Looks great as is, but I think it would look better without the headlight bezels being painted white if it's not going to get the GSX stripes.
