Nice! Cant wait to see some stories about this. FYI, I ran my stage ll Electra 482 to a 11.47 @118. This was o stock fuel line and a mechanical pump From JW. AFR was approx 12.2:1 coming thru lights. Just my o2 before you dump some money on a a fuel system if your thinking about it. I know you know your Stuff Bill but just something I discovered after year of thowing away money on fuel systems that I did not need.

I have loved vicious station wagons since I was a teenager!
My buddies dad bought a 327 / 300 horse laid out 64 Impala wagon, We drove people crazy street racing that car!
I've loved fast wagons since? loved your 68 monster from day one at the nats.
Good luck with this one Bill! She's a beaut! easy to haul parts with as well?

Oh Bill! Didn't mean to hurt feelings but I followed that car over on BCA forums. It was rough but you sure have transformed it into a beauty! I LOVE wagons!!

    Wow
I had the same car save for mine had a painted white roof! I really liked that car and the body was nice on it, but the frame was rotted right away., so it ended up being parted

    Cole ,
That is the twin of mine . My frame is good but has rust in lower frt fenders , lower rear quarters
tire well and bottom of doors . Floors never undercoated with no rust go figure !!!

Bill, how did you recondition the woodgrain? It looks so much better now than in the November 2019 picture.

I used a cleaner ( spray nine I think ) to take the oxidation off and then a tire shine to seal .
If the wagon got wet , I'm sure it will look crappy . May try a clear spray to seal it next time .
I have not posted close up pictures of the wagon for a good reason , it is a "25 footer " at best !!!

Hi Bill - Looking Good!! Is that Burnished Saddle for the interior color? Where did you find that carpet? I got a new carpet for my 70 convert which has Burnished Saddle interior and the carpet that showed up wasn't that dark. I was looking at other internet dark brown colored carpet pics that looked better than what was sent to me. I know I won't be happy if I go through all the trouble and put in that new carpet I got and it just doesn't look right.

I got a soft spot for wagons and yours is a really nice one. I'm not a big fan of the look of the 1970 Buick big cars but for some reason the look works on a wagon for me.
