I saw in another post about using bearing grease in the lube reservoir which I think I'm gonna do. Anyone have a different suggestion or something better to use?

    Thanks IMG_20180216_063717533.jpg

Oops, I guess I don't have the grease near me. I'll try and find something close to it.

    Brad,

I don't know of ANYTHING that compares. 10 yrs. from now it will be the same consistency as today & DOESN'T contain graphite so it can be used on Model T's. I use this on MANY jobs requiring grease. I've packed wheel bearings with it 15+ yrs. ago & when I have to pull the wheels for some reason it's ALWAYS the same.

Thanks for your concern Tom, since I'm not in any hurry and I've seen that there's many places where I can order Kendall Super Blue that's what I'll do.

The Skylark is not my everyday ride and I do enjoy driving it and working on it, why not treat it right!

    Thanks again!

I might use super lube synthetic grease. Like synthetic oil, great properties for heat and lubrication. Never dries out.
