Looking for paint for my 67 Special (300) manifold and valve covers.
Wondering what oficial name is (light green) and where it can be
obtained either in spray or brush on cans. Maybe there is reasonable
substitute for it. I'm not a stickler for factory correctness.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Roger,

Go to Da' Nailhead and then look for a post called "Paint the Nailhead"

I think that was it. I started the thread a while ago and it went as far as finding other manufacturers colors that match.

    Thanks for response.
Didn't find it there, maybe got deleted.
    I'll keep searching.

    Very good stuff!

Check out the por 15 site. They make two types of engine enamel for our nailheads.

You can also get it from Poston Ent.

    Thanks

Thanks, will check both places out.
Never thought of Poston even though I have
bought some other stuff from them. Duh!
Just looked two feet from my computer and
see my 2005 Poston catalog. Page 48 - paint.
    Duh!
