Just picked this up, really straight all things considered, just some light rust in spots, paint looks to be orig and interior outside of drivers side bench is good. Odo reads 86k & it feels like it. Im pretty green when it comes to builds so I'll be lurking and peppering questions in the right spot hopefully. Only thing I'm gonna do in the short term is a new exhaust and I gotta find a way to redo or replace the bench seat as it feels like fatty mcfatterson put all 86k miles on that seat, several seam tears, springs/foam seems shot. Looking for any leads/how-to's to swap over to something that wont cost me an arm and a leg. Sorry for lack of pics been a whirlwind! 69rivi.jpg

Any upholstery shop can redo that seat for you. Cost will not be as high as you think. Welcome from Florida

Get the original fabric from SMS auto fabrics. Have the seat springs replaced as needed with new foam.

Wow, I am glad we live so far away! My wife would kill me if I didn’t figure out how to get your car! Carolina blue & white? Very cool ride dude!

Best of luck with your resto!

Welcome! Here in the Pacific NW, rain and rust usually are the "troll demons" laying in wait. Hopefully you can keep your new jewel under cover and she will last. Best wishes on your
restoration efforts; we are here to help.

    Hey Gordo,

Welcome from Everett. I have an interior guy that's done both my cars. I can give you his number if you're interested in talking to him.
