just got this car a few weeks ago. Take out the secondary metering rods, they look like pencils - 0.104 thick tips. It’s auto, 3:42 gears.
What jets, primary rods, secondary rods should the carb have?
    Thanks

68 jets 44B rods, CZ secondary rods were stock.

Thanks. Someone put DD - the leanest rod they make. No wonder it’s a slug

Wow, those are the largest. CZ is pretty large also.
I'm showing 68 Jets and 43B Rods with CZ were original to that carb. Ken and I both know no matter what the book says, there were variations depending on when it was produced.

What that means is that your carb has probably been rebuilt by some large company or mass rebuilder. You are going to have to look at everything carefully to make sure it has the right parts.

Well yesterday the car starts running like a turd - no acceleration.....feels like a huge lean bog. Take carb apart, sure enough some cheap carb rebuild kit accelerator pump has fallen apart. I quickly replaced with an ethanol friendly Cliff Ruggles replacement. Never bye cheap quadrajet rebuild kits. Cliff sells stuff that lasts and works.
