I am modifing my 72 Buick GS-350 to a GS 455. I have changed out the front drums to 12 inch disks. The lug bolt pattern is 5x5 on the 12 inch disks. I have the stock 3.73 rear end in it curently and would like to change the rear lug bolt pattern to 5x5. Is there a a Buick model from the same era that had 5x5 luggs that would fit? What are my options?

i dont believe so. you would have to get an axle from moser or somewhere and have that lug pattern on it. i had a centurion with 5X5 with an 8.5 but i think it was a little wider than a standarl lark 8.5 but jim is the guy with the answer to that question.

Where did you get these rotors from? Sounds like you put FULL SIZE rotors on the Mid size car? Jim

IF you truly do want this we can just redrill your rear axles OR buy up graded ALLOY axles from Moser with the 5 on 5 bolt pattern with what ever size studs you require to match the front.

The guy I bought the car from had an article from an old Hot Rod magazine taking the spindles, calipers, and disks from a chevy station wagon and installing them on a Buick GS. In the article it does go into redrilling the disks for 5 on 4/34 bolt pattern. So I gues to stay in sync with the cosmos that is the direction I will go. Thanks

It is just money. You can not take it with you. :)
