For sale a GS 350 stage 1. More rare than a 455 stage 1 Told him he was wrong but still... "Yes I know it's hard to think !! They have been executed with very few copies (in reality it should not be called "stage 1", which is however often done and that is why the logos had been affixed also, but "Hi Po" Because the engines were prepared by the same workshops as the "stage 1 455ci" and with the same performance components, ie different cylinder heads, camshaft, carburetor, fuel pump). Which gave it 25 HP more than the standard GS 350 ... so 285 HP instead of 260 HP" https://www.facebook.com/groups/v8parts/permalink/1120487294721209/?sale_post_id=1120487294721209
LOL....I hope he is not that stupid in reality There was a "high compression" 315 HP 350 available, option A8.. sadly not a Stage 1 though
Not an optional engine, the standard engine in a 1970 GS (350) was the "high compression" 315 HP 350CID. This engine was available as an extra cost option on 1970 Skylarks, SportWagons and LeSabres.
