Who makes the best reproduction foam seals for GS air cleaners? By best I mean most original looking.

For the life of me I can't remember but someone here makes or made them. I will post if I can remember.

Mark Reeves of Then And Now Restorations was making dead ringers to the originals a while back but I'm not sure if he's still offering them.

Bought two sets from him. They are nice. Not sure if he's still making them.

What did you use to adhere the new foam to the air cleaner? I got a set from a catalog and no sticky on either side and I'm scared to use the wrong stuff and melt the foam.

hmmmm. I don't know. They are for a car that is being restored, not to the point of needing them yet. In am sure someone else on the board knows though and can chime in.

I used Velcro for mine as I have two sets. I just stuck two Velcro strips to each side of the air cleaner inlets. One set is used for car shows and the second set is a cheap copy that I run around on the street with. The Velcro keeps the foams from blowing off if I start the engine with the hood up. :D
