GSX Front Spoiler Mounting

I see the instruction sheet for the GSX front spoiler shows it mounting to the fenders. Is this the same location as the small fender support brackets ? if so would the GSX not have these brackets ? Or did the GSX spoiler mount to the fender in a different location ? Thanks

Don’t use the center support. It is more forgiving without it. Hit something with that support in and more damage results.
