I know this sounds kind of silly, but here goes....

I purchased this steering wheel assembly a few years ago with the thought of installing it "someday". Well, it's getting close to that day but I just realized that I don't know how to remove the horn button. It looks as though I could just pry it off but that seams too easy, and a little risky.

There are no exposed fasteners to remove, so prying the button off my be the only real option. Just to be sure before attacking it with various types of pry bars... Just how do you remove the horn "button"?

As always, thank you in advance for the assistance.

It pulls right off. Or you can pry it off with a popsicle stick.

Hold the center of the wheel down put your fingers on the edge of the horn button and pull up should start coming
Off work your way around the horn button It works better when the wheel is already in stalled to the car May have to fight it a little bit do not use pry tools.

Just to be 100% honest for “those guys” he did request a sleepover from friends for the steering wheel removal itself!

"Fat grip." Nicer feel than Rallye...especially without those annoying finger grips on backside...
