This is the last Shifter I have, Came out of a GTO, Looks like it could be anywhere from a 67-70, 3138 shifter body. Round handle. I can get pics later tonight. $100 shipped in the lower 48.

Chris..I apologize for hijackin your thread:spank: but..I have a question for all the fellos who replied to your GTO shifter...I have a lead on an ORIGINAL 1965 GTO tri power setup including intake, linkages, air cleaners...needs rebuilding!.. .. the guy wants $1800 for it...Besides eBay, WHERE can/should I advertise this unit for him? Too much money, first, you can buy a completely restored correct one for that much... maybe a litlle more, plus 66 is what everyone wants.I had one completely restored it was freaking expensive...800 bucks...

The best place to sell a tripower is...ebay, i always make out real well on tripowers on there...

aircleaners are wrong, midddle carb is wrong...bases are probably froze...people will beat it up. I would sell it like this

I would break it up,and sell the 2 end carbs and intake seperately, they reproduced the water neck, even now they reproduced the 66 intake....its not a cherry piece, and its really wrong....

end carbs bring 150 to 250 for cores itake brings 200, and all the trinkets bring 150....

Hey Chris, I am actually looking for a 65 or 66 to use in my skylark, this is a 70-72 with a bench or console, or even non-console with buckets, although its a great deal, i will pass, if there is someone out there that really needs a 70-72 style shifter....they can have it, i would throw it on a shelf......i just want the early style, thanks, mark
