    A wise man (actually several wise men) told me about painting these stripes when I was doing Mike's X last year. Get the measurements as close as you can. None of these were ever exactly the same. And as evidence with the photos Dave provided, they were pretty sloppy.

    Don't bother with the stencil kits either. Work with the given measurements and lay it out by hand. You'll end up doing most of it by hand anyway, after realizing that the kits are merely a suggestion.

    This was an 8 hour Sunday just to mask the stripes.
