I need help with the new posts feature. I can only get the new posts for the last couple of minutes on the board, not since the last time I logged on. I had this problem with the old board too but I used the three day feature. Do I have something set up wrong? My cookies are enabled and the board remembers me. HELP please. Thanks Dave
I'm having the same problem. When I open the board there are xxx's by the new posts, but the forums with new threads are highlighted. Did not have this problem before and don't have it on other boards I belong too o No: Mike
I just click the view new posts button. After reading all new posts, I mark all messages read. The next time I hit the view new posts button, it displays all posts that are new since the last time I cleared them out.
Problem solved. I went into windows and deleted all cookies from V8 Buick, apparently there were some old stale crumbs from the old board still in there. When I logged back into the board I was able to read all the posts since I last visited. I do however have to log out everytime leave and log back in to see the new posts. I tried marking all the posts read and this did not work. Thanks for the help. Dave
