If it was shipped by Buick to Cali to be sold by a dealer there, then Yes

If the car was ordered from a Ca. dealer it would have the evap system "somewhat" like a 1971 GS along with the fender mounted washer tank (not inner fender mount).

It does have the Fender Mounted Washer Tank.

Car was sold at Boulevard Buick in Long Beach which I believe is still there.

Where are the Build Sheets typically found on GSX's???

I didn't but I know who did........and I will be doing the Resto! I have a 72 Stage 1 for a different customer in the works right now so this one may sit for a bit but I feel it went to a good home.

    Here's where I'm at with the 72:

Hoping to have this one done by Fall.
The GSX should get the same treatment.

Just curious, what was the final sale price which bought the car? I did not see that on previous threads.
    I am looking for a 70 X 4spd project car myself.

I didn't purchase the car (I was involved) but I'm not at liberty to post that info.

I do feel the car went to a good home and it was purchased at a price that was fair for both parties given the condition of the car. We did find out AFTER the purchase that it is in fact a Stage 1 so that was a bit of a bonus. Knowing what it cost to do a Full Frame Off restoration I feel this car can be restored and still be under it's value. I'm just happy it's being saved and will be brought back to its former glory.

    Todd,

Wayne Roberts has the microfilm for all the 1970 GSX cars. His contact info is here on the board. He will do your documentation and give you a nice print out of the options, number of your GSX, and where it was originally delivered. Last I recall it was around $75 for slow $150 for fast turn around time for this paperwork.

Todd, that has a 03A cowl build date which makes it an early build GSX.
It will be in the 60-80th range GSX built.
Yes as Ryan states, Wayne Roberts Microfishe has has actual # built so contact him and get paperwork.

    Rich,

The build date is actually 03E. That would be March of 1970
