Hooking up the Hood Tach to an HEI Distributor

    I found a set of instructions to wire up an A.C. Hood Tach to a standard ignition...my question is the wiring sequence the same for a High Energy Ignition distributor...? Thanks, Mr. Jay B.Britt,Jr.

    If you are talking about the big cap GM HEI, there is a tach output right next to the BAT lead right at the cap,
