Has anybody generated a list of hotels that are close to the track for June? Before ya know it, spring will be here and a bunch of thrashing will be going on and people will be asking where the time went? :eek2: Too much of this :Comp: and not enough of :3gears: will equil this :spank:. In the end people will be doing this :ball: . Or, if ya get the thing really running good, everybody will look at you like this  than this :puzzled: .

While Dave comes up with the official list, here's a list I garnered from the local yellow pages. All these hotels are on the far south side of Grand Rapids, making them about 20 minutes of limited-access highway driving from Martin. There's plenty more hotels further into and across GR. All area codes are 616.

Amerihost Inn, 7625 Caterpillar Ct, 827-9900
Bay Pointe Inn, Shelbyville/Gun Lake, 888-486-5253
Baymont Inn & Suites, 8282 Pfeifer Farms Dr., 583-9535
Comfort Suites, 7644 Caterpillar Ct., 301-2255
    Hampton Inn, 755 54th St. SW, 261-5500
Holiday Inn Express, 6569 Clay SW, 871-9700

I have no knowledge of how good or bad any of these are. I leave it up to you to research on Expedia.com, Hotels.com, etc. You may also want to look for hotels in Kalamazoo or Plainwell.

I can make recommendations for luxury accomodations for geriatric Buick drivers and deep-pocketed Mopar collectors.

I think I stayed here last year. Good hotel, close to track, but a little expensive if I remember correctly.

    Steve,

Is that the one that's got the waste-water treatment plant right next to it ??

    Casey,

I believe you are correct, but to put a better label on it, the wastewater treatment plant is actually a goverment run mosquito breeding farm!
