Actually We do not give points for over restored cars, but allow for some body panel mis-alignments etc, as that is the way they were originally delivered. We also allow variations in paint colors, ever as far as under hood black pieces. Some of these pieces were painted by sub-contractors and sent to the factory as sub-assemblies, so they never matched originally. So an over-restored car has no benefits over a correctly restored car in the GSCA or BPG concours classes. You need to use some common sense when judging old cars. Duane
