After having spoken to Doug, at the Buick Farm, I would like to see how many would be interested in purchasing a reproduction 4-speed shift boot, if he has one made? He has a guy, the same guy that reproduced his equalizer boots, who has agreed to reproduce these round (65-66) shifter type boots. He assures me that it will be of the same quality as his equalizer boot, otherwise he will not commit to the deal. I have agreed to send him my boot in order to fabricate the repro piece and he estimates that it will take at least 6 months in order to receive the final product. I am sure they will not be inexpensive, there can't be many here that need them, but for those of us that do, it may be worth the purchase price. I know that this has been kicked around before, I'm trying to get him an idea of how many might be interested. Thoughts? Here is a pic of his repro equalizer boot.
