    Its a chevy, I really wouldn't expect any higher level of quality myself.

    Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

    I've seen worse. I sold an '81 Z/28 that just needed lower patch panels on the quarters. Car was brown. I had it 'jambed in' in red. I included a couple full quarters that I was going to slice up to use. After the guy stuck a ton of labor and some $$$ into the car, some hack welded the full quarters on without even cutting entire old ones off. Never removed back window. The gap between the quarter and the deck lid was about 3". Friend of mine paid $800 for it and parted it. Had a rebuilt engine/trans and many new parts.

    Maybe that’s a way to achieve the “widebody” effect on the cheap...

    1967 Big Buick One day at a time.

    Had a car show up here once and guy was complaining quarter panel was cracking.

    Started grinding it down and found out body shop or DIY'er used Bondi to hold it all together.
