How to install 69 fuel tank vent valve

    It doesn't. It just presses the hoses against the floor. The bracket just holds the hoses in place

    Ohhh okay and then you attach the screw to the underneath also to keep it all tight and from moving around

    This may be a stupid question , but once I attach the two hoses to the 2 sided part of the vent piece, what happens to the two hose connections attached to the upper right hand corner of the gas tank? They just sit there with nothing attached to them?

    There are two hose connections at the upper right hand corner of the tank. Two hoses connect to that and go up to the white plastic piece. The white plastic piece is a filter

    What size hose is the fatter one?? I need to get a new hose and custom fit it here for them to be the same length ! Someone know the size off top of head?? @buick64203

    I think its 1/2". Bring the white plastic filter to the auto parts store so you can match it up to the hose
