I just picked up a nice '70 Skylark Grill but the mounting studs are broken. What have you folks done to mount a grill with broken studs? I do not have any of the studs. Any suggestions?

Place a correct size bolt (5/16", IIRC) in the correct location and build up a mound around it with an epoxy putty

I would try to tap new threads in the tower and if that doesent work try JB weld.

I have the same issue. Found 2 mounting posts from another car. My plan is to mount the grill with the 4 good studs. Shape/file/fit the two donor pieces to a position as they mate up & the grille sits straight. Gently clamp the grille, with the donor pieces, to the rad. support. Clamp will be put between the rear of the grille & the front of the rad. support/cover. Sandwich the stud onto the mounting position.
While the epoxy/bonding agent sets up the grille should remain in the right position.
