Donny was drafted by the organizers and tech staff to do some math with exhisting numbers and specs. Both Pete, Bob and Dan were involved in the decision to use him to interperate formulas and measurments cause thats what he is good at MATH. Not to tech a car in any line or ask him to build a Hemi. And your post is still out of line. Are you trying to say Pete , Dan and Bob are uncapable of being orgainizers and Tech advisors with there choice? My post is not about a public post or even the compression of a Hemi it is about debating the facts reguarding the issues without personal slander. You got personal thats all , and I did not expect you to man up and retract but you should cause your wrong about his requested participation and thats a fact supported by the Tech Advisor that drafted him. I know for a fact if you proved Donny wrong with his numbers he would be the first to step up and say yep i messed up and was incorrect.

you keep saying stuff like "We all pay the same entry fee as PARTICIPANTS not organizers. Want all the say? Organize you own race." They asked him to do this. And if his posts and findings are out of line they should be telling him to stop not you! Your only a participant with no orgainizer or tech advisor sponsership on this subjet.

I am not picking sides at all and don`t really agree with his methods and horse beating. But if your going to argue the point keep it to the facts of the issues. if you don`t care about the facts of this subject and just want to race then say that . To be condesending and personal is not right especially when we are suppose to be friends.

As to the one on one after insp this was done. And the people with the cars that were checked choose to make it public by talking about. And saying the numbers were incorrect.

The Ostrich remark has to do with your statement "If you don't like the way things are run, stay home. Things will be much more peaceful that way." . You want a nice peaceful race with no drama then don`t read the threads or listen to the talk.

I guess the Key word in your comment is "when" eh. As I am way faster now and feel free to pump my motor anytime. Some people will do anything they can just to make it to the race when they have mechanical issues. I know my scorching 13.60 tore up the track that weekend.

As for the commet as a whole I guess your no better than the people your chastizing for brining it up? More personal stick poking.

As for the party , we left the track 2 hours early that day so what your incinuating is also inaccurate. We chose not to go back and wait at the Hotel for the later party. I did not see you in any pics ?

I realize that some of the posts in this thread have been a little inflamatory; that should stop. But I disagree with Ken (and some others) that the race participants should not discuss this topic -- that it's Dan and Bob's event and everyone else should shut up.

Of course that fact is correct: it is Dan and Bob's event. But if the participants don't call each other on the carpet once in a while, that places ALL of the burden on Dan and Bob. I shouldn't speak for them, but I'm pretty sure that they don't want the tech procedure to be any more time-consuming or any more pain-in-the-keester (for them or the racers) than it already is. There is value in peer pressure. There is value in having the racers police each other. Let's just limit it to raised eyebrows and good-natured ribbing, not raised voices and fists.

I think this has been a good thread, with a lot of good discussion. And hopefully it will make anyone bending the rules think about cleaning up their act (or switching to F.A.S.T.).

As for my absence at the races; I was fed up after the rule changing that your posse lobbied for about roller tip rockers. "they're out! they're in!" The 'distinguished racer' meeting went off half-cocked without knowing the facts.

But, I had planned a return before Martin. Health problems kept me from doing that. I'm sorry I didn't air my laundry for your benefit.(unlike some)

As for the parties; I've never been nor will I ever be at one. I see aquaintences/ racers at the races. I don't have to buy them food or posters for them to like me.

I love this sh!t for the cars.
I have no personal beef with you or anyone else. I run my own game at the track. I keep my nose out of other peoples' business. I run for the best number I can get out of the car. I don't really care who wins or if I break out. I think i've lost more than won.

 

Obviously you cared enough to talk about it now. Why would you not say anything for 2 years and now all of a sudden open your mouth? To make me look bad? To smear me ? I would say that would be considered a Personal attack. I never portrayed myself as an Angel. There were alot of people who knew about my old motor and why I had no other option. I am still disappointed in how you are treating people on here and now me. Funny though how quickly you turn into the very monster your complaining about . I am truly sorry you were not at the last events honestly I know what kind of guy you have been in the past quiet and to yourself so for me to get a response out of you about my driving or my car made me feel good. Go after him on the technical merits if there wrong don`t get personal. I have'nt posted on here in a long time,and never even look at this site anymore.But today i got a call from a fellow PS'er and heard about all the sh** some of you are still whining about,what a joke.As far as im concerned every car running under 13 flat is cheating to some degree,every small block running under 14 flat is cheating,check the old mag's,sure some improvement can be expected but not 1 or 2 seconds.Now you have 4000 lbs cars with low horse big blocks running low 13's,and small blocks doing the same,impossible.I raced PS for 10 years and loved it more than anything.I was pitted alongside of many of you and saw and heard some of your illegal parts and you are some of the biggest complainers on here.As long as you run all out and are teamed with a car of equal ET,growup and shutup.

Nock it OFF !! I stewed about this all night and watched the last few days. We may have proved you could measure a dome when told you couldn't. We may of shown that we have teched Hemi's in the past.
But none of them where personal attacks on character,
I can bust someones balls all day on facts and fun without telling them I'm going to kill there puppy!

This whole last 2 pages are Venomous personal attacks ! Mean spirited , and meant to Hurt. NEVER haVE I went after someone and been as foul as you guys . And YOU should be ashamed.

This is far worse than anything I have EVER done.
