    Hey Denny!

Geezz. Can't a guy get a cup of coffee in him before you throw the good morning curve ball?

Pretty sure that car was raced in the Midwestern States primarily?

Rumor had it that he got into six holer power ,while cutting the hood for his 50's Corvette's hood scoop, when the Sawzall blade broke. He just finished cutting the left side by hand, and plopped in the six instead.

Opps! Gotta go! Time for my insulin.

Dave Kanners of Maskin & Kanners(Hornet X) still lives in the Detroit burbs area. Buddy of mine knows him pretty well. Hasn't touched a race car since the 70's. He owns an auto repair shop. I guess he is a fitness nut. No crack pipes for him Rich. LOL....!!!!!!

    Jim,

This might be an odd time to bring this up,but I'm pretty sure that I read on an AMC Forum that I frequent that Dave Kanners just passed away? I'm thinking this was in the last three or four months?

From what I remember reading,he was a very unique individual whose Drag Racing past was only part of his lifes many accomplishments.A very diverse and sucessful past for sure.

Hey Donny, have you heard that there are these things called magazine subscriptions where they actually DELIVER the magazines to your house??

    Thanks Donny.

I have a subscription, but at times I've looked for them on Magazine racks (sometimes for and extra copy) ,and I noticed the same thing?

It is a great magazine for sure, but with seemingly being able to view it online, especially now before I have the print issue, one might ask why subscribe at all?

I'll keep my subscription, but I do think that one of the things you ought to get as a paid subscriber,is at least being able to see the issue before it goes online? Doesn't seem like the soundest business practice either?:Do No:

They only do things that way when AMC's are involved:Brow:

Congrats Weymouths on the great covershot and coverage!

I received an email from Amos Publications (bulk), that I almost didn't open, and noticed the car on the cover!

As a subscriber I could see that it was coming up in next month's issue, but a cover? For a Rambler ? Holy Cow!

Electric Blue Metallic (AMC 71 color only) IS my all time favorite color ever ever period!
Your car is a beaut. for sure, ordered just the right way to boot!

Here's a picture that didn't make the article, that illustrates the point on Electric Blue .

I know how you work Rich, you were really illustrating how far back a Hornet would be if racing an AMX...
