Unfortunately not much, motor is setting back in place. Haven't had the time between work and family to get the new crossmember in place. That needs to happen b4 front plates can be made.

But it its in the engine bay rather than on the stand . Thankfully work keeps coming through the doors, which means paychecks.

Slight update, new front plates made and installed, got the remote mount oil filter all in place with lines made. Did get to prime the system, saw 75 psi on 30wt with the drill on low.......I think it's around 500rpms.

Have a slight amount of wiring, dust to drop in, and cooling system to drop in and we can get it living.......hopefully tomorrow

It runs again, great oil pressure and temps, only a few drops from the scavenger system bolts which I'm sure we can dry up.

Got some base carb adjustments on the new dominator.........was starting to pull fuel from the boosters at only 2000 cause a super rich run. After closing the front some and the opening the rear that's now 3500, time to find an open track here in Ohio this weekend from a test a tune

Went out wed for shake down passes, did make one pull off the foot brake to the 1/8th. Went 1.55 60ft shifted 6k and 6k went 6.95 1/8th at 95mph on a super soft tune.

Checked everything out, filter looks clean, we turn a few screws ........slight carb adjustment to clean up idle, added 3 degrees timing, went back out sat, made 4 passes really consistent 60fts, 3 between 1.496 and 1.499, fastest being 1.485, best 660 was 6.780@ 100. Still a lot more in it for sure, pretty sure my converter isn't doing its full job, but will work on that this winter.

EGT gauge going crazy so didn't tune too much more. Was happy to be back in the car and have it running better knowing it has more to go

Special huge thanks to finishline motorsports for going above and beyond in helping me get it back and going right. It means more to me than I can ever say or show, thank you Bob

    weekend update from clay city,
car is running on a shoe string, 4 round friday 60ft times were a touch off from norwalk but all 4 were between 1.510 and 1.519, ets were 6.806, 6.806, 6.803, 6.798.

Sat much the same little drier air to start the day, track prep a touch better 4 more rounds with 60 time 1.487-1.495 et started at 6.732, slowed a touch to 6.754 with the slower 60 time but ended the day back 6.734. car ran dead on dail and wasnt off by more .004 ever pass............now if we can get the driver to do his job. daytine lights were .030s to. .020 but my night time slowed way down to .070s and .080s at night

feels great to be back in car and it running strong, thanks again to bob at finishline motorsports for helping us get things back on track. cant wait to see what happens next year when we get the converter worked out and hopefully back in the ball game

never heard of them, not a big fan of pricey plugs as often as i might need to change them.

i used the ngk 7173 that jim recomemded and they have working great, get them for 15 buck for 8 online.
