Awesome cars across the makes.....green is my color. The 70 GS Stage 1 was the best Buick there IMO. My son was there all day Thursday and spent time up on stage shooting video.....my kid on TV and I have to work for a living....LOL.

People seem to really green or really not. Fortunately I do. I have 2 pretty neat green '70's, one of which I'd suspect is a 1 of 1 color combo on a GS.

Do you know why it hasn't sold or any history on it? On the surface, and before your best deal, seem like a decent price. Color? Performance parts? Like I said, if I liked 'em loaded, this one has it all or darn close.
All of 4 pics and not the greatest write up. Not sure how much that matters. It does appear to have the wrong fan shroud (not a cheap piece) and of course no air cleaner, so there's $12-1500 right there
It has the original numbers matching engine and transmission in the car that were rebuilt by Jim Osborne out of Kentucky. The car has a B4B intake on it right now therefore you can't run the stock air breather and look correct he has the Air breather, carburetor, distributor, stored away. Plus the original WG wheels that were restored by Dave Kleiner years ago in boxes. As for as the fan shroud and fan that's a story for non-public consumption ......

Am I the only one who is drooling over that 73 Stage 1 4 speed? Maybe I love it because it is like the Next Gen Step Child.

Oh believe me I can't swing anything except emotions at a car right now. Two kids graduating in 3 weeks and going to college, a 16 year old truck with a rusted frame and a rod knock....... If you could lend me a pot to piss in I would really appreciate it.
I think it'd be so cool to have one of those cars, especially a 4-sp., but I sure wouldn't want to restore one. I'd only buy a super orig. rust-free example or a high quality resto. On a '70-72, even one that's a money loser, at least parts (used, repro., & NOS) are relatively abundant. On a '73-74, there are none that that need to be fully restored that aren't money losers, and believe me I'm one who's advocated that especially w/ Buicks it's not about the $ and am doing a car that's a loser because I want that car, but there aren't any parts available either which would be incredibly frustrating. It's a shame as they're neat cars.
Correct. You cannot put a price on being the only kind of your car at every car show all year long. That's priceless!
Can I know how you feel with my oldest daughter just graduated college and is headed to Texas for graduate school for the next six years my youngest daughter is just starting Catholic high school this fall hands reality set in I couldn't afford another car right now. I should've quoted big Kens post that's who I was replying to anyway keep the faith it's all good in the end.
I did a 73 Regal with a 455 years ago that was a cool car - even then, parts were impossible to find and expensive when you did. Spend up and buy a nice one I think or have a parts car in your pocket.
Either I completely missed it, or the listing is very incomplete and that information, at least to me as a buyer and more of an originalist/purist, would make all the difference as to whether I pursued it further or not. I do like it. I wish I was in a position to make an offer on it depending on the details, history, etc. The fact that it's been for sale for a long time, and more so why, would be concerning though. My old GSX had a very early (day 2, circa 1970) B4B when I got it and I'm sure (well, I am getting old and that was 32+ years ago) it had the factory dual snorkel on it when I got it. Was there something different on the early ones?
