Interested in a Flowkooler,TA High flow water pump or Meziere for a 455

I am at the point of ordering a water pump for my Stage 2 motor build. I would be interested in a used pump as long as it's in good condition. Don't know how an electric will work on the street,but if it will work,it will do. Any deals out there??

I have a New Meziere water pump, I have run these on the street since 2010 with know problems.

 

Buickrat - what alternator are you running? Is the pump much of a load? electric fans? Tell us your street set up please!

 

I run the standard 42 amp GM alternator that came on a 70 GS. I have manual steering, I only have one belt that goes from the alternator to the lower pulley. I installed a Ron Davis aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The engine is a 462 makes 575 HP with exhaust manifolds and never gets above 185 degrees. The car has a 2004R with the factory 3.90 gear set and I cruise down the freeway at 75 mph while the engine is turning 2400 RPMS.
