Cart way ahead of horse, to much work needs to be done to the car to even think of this but yet here I am. 62 Skylark, white exterior, black wheels, black all chrome, big tires. The interior is rough. I need to make a dash and maybe door panels from aluminum. I will have a cage. What color interior would look good? The frame of the door that surrounds the door panels is steel. The more modern cars have vinyl from top to bottom. I envision, aluminum or stainless. But what else????????????????
Red carpet, red metal around aluminum door insert, seats red? All I could think of was red as well. Got to get some white I imagine. lol
When I get to that point I will snap some pictures of the interior. As said before sheet metal dash, and maybe door.
The seats will need reupholstered, carpet is trash, I can dye some of it. If I get it up and running I was thinking of the career center kids spraying it. I plan to do a lot of tin work i the doors and dash.
