Interior dye for kick panels

    i am lookin for blue to match door panels. Does anyone know of a supplier?

    I have done many. Key is you need to use Lacquer!! You also need to use a adhesion promoter. They are polypropylene plastic Clear is best. I have used both Bulldog brand and SEM brand adhesion promoter. Trick is give it two coats. First is light and just after it dries do a second heavier coat. Put two or three color coats on right after each dries. Don’t paint any of this in the sun. There are two gloss levels on original interior colors. Semi gloss is probably best. I have used Tower paints that custom mix in spray bombs. TCP Auto Color Library can also sell you paint in cans that you have to mix with thinner. A little goes a long way. PPG makes the best color matches. Dead on to factory. Only use same brand thinner and proper heat range. This can really screw you up. Some guys swear by SEM color. I have zero experience with them. I suspect it’s just lacquer. If you have a color other than black be skeptical. I see you have blue.
