Is anyone running air suspension and your thoughts.

I am putting 20s on the back and 18s on the front and I'm wanting to drop my stance.

I was wondering if anybody on here is using air ride suspension. I searched but could not find a thread.

It seems like a great idea to use air ride suspension so you can lower your car and then raise it up when you are driving down the road. in the town I work in the roads are in bad shape so a lowered vehicle would get messed up.

I don't want to set my car on the ground but I would like to be able to control the height. I was reading on a post on hot Rod where they were talking about the advantages and handling with air ride

Any thoughts or if anyone is running air ride already.

I know a few guys that have air ride after the novelty of making a statement when parking one is switching back to coil overs. The other guy has probably at least three of them and said he'd never build another. I think it's way cool though but for a performance aspect I don't know.

I have 18s on front 20's on rear 61 Buick with air ride.

    Love it.

Shockwaves (integrated shock and bag) on front and R7's on rear.

I love it, set the ride height you want, looks great dumped, and rides / handles really well

I have an air-lift bag kit in my 67, with stock springs & shocks. I keep it pumped up to 15-20 PSI to tighten up the handling, helps to keep this boat from undulating too much.

When you have air ride, you never take a picture of it when it's up, just when it is down, lol!

Mine also has 18's in front and 20's in the back.

Both of the bubbles were done by street machinery in OH. Google them and u will find lots of air ride cars. They might be street machinery.com

Both cars look great. Do you know the guy with the other car? I have some friends that are proud of their Chevy bubbles and pulling up in one of those would definitely burst their bubbles. I gotta get one.Nice looking cars.:TU:

The blue one? That one is owned by Chris as well, you have to be named Chris to have a cool Buick bubbletop. :>)

He lives in AUS, I am in WA, we know each other from this website and our shared love for the bubbles.

Here is Street Machinery's website, Boris (owner) sells air ride parts and builds a lot of cars with air ride. Right now he is doing a lot of "patina" rides.

how long ago were the cars done? Did they just do suspension or did they do other work on the cars. I gotta laugh. People love the "patina". To me it looks like it needs a paint job.:Do No: of course I paint for a living.

I bought mine in 2010, the guy I bought it from had it a year or two, so it was done 6-7 years ago.

On mine, they did some paint work, seat covers, suspension, exhaust, corvette disc brakes.
