I love a 70-72 Rally Sport Camaro front end. Actually All of them. 69 Rally Sport is probably my favorite. RS Z/28 car? Come on...
70-early 73 (before the January 1st 5mph bumpers) are my favorite Camaros! And they have to have the RS front end.
I love when flippers are chomping at the bit so bad they can't even be bothered to take the car off the trailer (a really crappy one in this case might I add) before they take pictures to post a sale ad. Always makes me chuckle. Neat car though.
Car would never be a $70k car, even if you got it at market price of $$20 k or less and spent $50k on a full restoration it would fetch $$45-50 k tops, it’s not a 1970., which even then would be a stretch. Still cool none the less.
70 1/2 to 73 Camaros aren't far behind the first gens as far as money goes. It's got all the right stuff going for it. If done properly I'd bet you'd be surprised at the value.
Agreed. Sure it will never see 100k but it is very desirable. Factory 72 Rally Sport Z-28. It is worth it to the right Camaro fan.
What is "typical" rust?? The car is largely Unibody, it does have a front subframe. Heavily rotted ones will sag, and the subframe will "pull" out of the floor, giving weird door to fender gaps. Beware.
Yes, they made a lot of RS Z/28s. The RS package could be added to the Z/28, the SuperSport, or as a stand alone model. We have owned quite a few Camaros of various years and models. We currently own a '69 Z/28 RS (waiting to get paint), a '70 RS (rolling chassis street/race backhalf car) and a '71 Z/28 RS. White Camaro is the '70 RS before 'going under the knife'. ,
