Here's a pace car that got a little toasty under the hood.

What a shame to see a once beautiful car in such horrible condition!

This 1964 Wildcat was only missing a few parts.

'64 Wildcat interior. Shampoo, Carpet, and some 303 protectant...can you say "SHOW WORTHY"? :jd:

401 or 425? Which would be powering the Wildcat?

When I mentioned I was interested in Buick parts on the way out, the yard hand took me over to see what they obviously consider more valuable junk. He said it ran great.

Back in the yard, there were two '66 Skylark's that looked nearly identical. Here is one in it's final resting place.

Classic '65 Riv spruced up a long line of really neat old rides.

Brian, was the Boattail rust-free, what is wrong with it? Thanks

Big Buick would make a lot of Hondas....

thanks for sharing. That Riv above is my favorite as of now. That could win an award. I always loved looking at cars in junk yards. For me it's even more fun than a car show because in the yard each car tells a story of it's life. I think it's fun to imagine the car's life from the day it was built to the present. At a car show the cars are new looking and there really isn't much of a story on the surface.

Rob, The boattail had no rust showing. My guess is there was some filler work under the rather low quality paint job. It was getting dark and we were leaving when I found out about it so I didn't check it out fully.

Is the yard super far from you?

I like them too! The '65 Riv sure told a story once you lifted the hood. It said, "I've been here many autumns".

Apollo was sort of lonely looking...

'68 Skylark was well picked over and well grown over.

Riv GS dash, if and when I go back this is the part I want to take home with me.

Hi Rob. It's about 45 minutes southeast of me.
