I made a trip to a wrecking yard while at our cottage and found this buick , motor missing and I did not get a good look at the car but will next time. the second photo , is that hole in the floor for a four speed or auto.

    Head scratcher.
    I'm thinking Pontiac myself. '67?
Just that the whole header panel is missing.

Looks like a Mercury to me. Look at the grill.

I think it's just mashed. The door handles and window vents are screaming '66-'67 GM.

Not a Pontiac. I had a '66 and the fenders were rolled over smooth and there wasn't a body line down the side. This car has a body line and if you look close it has a squared edge at the top of the fender.

Looks more like a '65 Oldsmobile to me.

That may be it! The hood is another telltale now that you mentioned it.

Nope. '69 Pontiac didn't have the header panel between the grille and the hood like this car does. Also the hood bulge widened as it travelled rearward while this car has a straight bulge. It does suggest around a 69 GM though since the fender shape is similar.

    I can see that...

Been trying to google the interior photos, but can't find any with that dark insert in the door panels.

Vent windows suggest 67 or older?
    What is it?

1967 Pontiac Bonneville, that's my guess. If it is, it sure is a rare car..........Mac
