I have 2 Jw sfI certified flexplates, both are neutral balanced, one is solid, one has lightening holes. I did not pay close enough attention, I needed external, didn't really look well enough when i got them. Asking 125 each plus shipping. Will trade for Jw external balance. If someone is willing to trade I will pay shipping for both. Will add pics when I get home
Sorry I used both terms there. They are both flex plates for automatic transmissions. One is a solid plate, one has 6 lightening holes in it. They are both used, but very lightly is what I was told, I have no reason to think otherwise. I will correct the first posting to use the correct terms, thanks for pointing that out,I don't want to confuse anyone
I have no clue what the letters stand for. But you can see from the pics there is no weights on the flex plate
I did call jw last night the xl was originally external balance but the weight was removed at sometime. Eric at jw says this happens often and doesn't hurt anything. And is actually normal practice cause often ppl can't find the part they want in stk or already had an external and didn't want to buy another. You can hardly see where they removed the weight. I never noticed till I compared to the stk one. If you look at the second picture of the lightened plate, the side with no stickers, you can see a mark at about 1030, and one about 730 where the weight used to be. I thought it was just a scratch in the paint. If still interested seeing the new info I found out last night let me know.
