    Guys,
I know that the bolts can be boogers, but I've got bigger problems. I just started putting my headers in and the are hitting up against the front frame cross support. I got the passenger side in and even tougher was the drivers side, had to loosen steering box:af: . Now here is my question? On my motor mounts there are 2 sets of holes, I have the bolts running through the top ones, is it possible to run the bolts through the bottom ones? I figure if it worked it would free up about 1/2 inch each way. If this isnt the solution than I guess i'll get out the ball peen hammer. I was hell getting em in and I dont want to take em out again. I am 1/4 to possibly 1/2 inch to high for header to line up on drivers side up front, but it is up in there. :ball: . If you guys have any ideas let me know especially if it means just lifting motor up:Smarty: .

    Thank Guys,
    Steve

I have Kenne Belle headers on my 72 Skylark 455 transplant and never inatalled a set that were easier to put on and never had to put a dent in them. Did you use new motor mounts?

No, I didnt I inspected the ones on the car and they looked ok. Is that gonna be my problem? If so since the headers are up close to where they need to be do you think it will be possible to change them with the headers up there? I guess rubbers compacts over t he years, the motor mounts looked real good:Do No:. I guess its why it is a hobby  .

    Back to the drawing board!
I just wanna here it run lol
