Last 70 GS Sample Grille

Once again the '68 is the red headed step child grill... The '68 GS grill can also be used with the Skylark Custom cars so there is a more than one model that can use it. I guess the same can be said about the '67 GS grill and the Special grill....

I don't need a '68 grill right now and hopefully I will not need one before the reproductions are available.

It is good to see some good quality parts being made at a resonable price :TU:

Jim, is the 71 repro grille really that good too? Maybe I need to consider one or two if so. Are we talking totally painted up correctly and just a bolt in? It's a big departure from just a couple years ago when busted up original grilles were going for more than twice this much money.

 

I had bought a 71 Gs grille and thought it was very nice and fits very well!

 

How long is this special pricing good for? If i havent snoozed, I may be interested as well.

Yes, their 71 grill is excellent, completely painted with/studs.

I would say it is good untill this Friday, they are due in next week while we are on Christmas break. After that they will go, not sure to what price yet.

No one can say that the PPI did not give us the last call heads up here over a period of months. But last time I checked you can still get one for $399 on their Ebay link posted above.

I agree PPI did give plenty of time to order one. I was just pointing out that in a earlier post shane said price was good till friday. I tried to order one on friday and the price was no longer good this is my own falt for not ordering one sooner as I sould have read it and noted TILL FRIDAY NOT THROUGH FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!! as I said it is my falt and again yes they gave plenty of time for me to buy one at the 399 price

Besides the incorrect color its a great item from Parts Place :TU: . Exact copy well worth the $ came with studs as well.I gave it a good twist and it didnt crack in 1/2 I am sure my 35 year old one would be in 2 peices after that.Now if we can get them to make the chrome surround trim stuff that is needed for the grill aswell :grin:
