here's my 71 .lets see yours
Chris, that's gorgeous. I really like the GSX look.
Dave I read about your purchase with interest. Looks to me like you got a great car there. Sorry, no wagon in the stable yet to send a pic.
Thanks, Mike. I really like that green one in your avatar too. Maybe I'm strange, but I love that color green on the GS cars.
Thanks Chris. It's not a Sportwagon but here's a pic anyway. The way the light is hitting the one in the AV it almost looks like Lime Mist. This one is Seamist, and the pic below is more like what it looks like on an ordinary day. 275s on the back give it a beefy look. :3gears:
The 275's do look pretty beefy. That's what I have on my Sport Wagon as well. My friend asked me one day if I could fit any bigger tires underneath it.
Pics of my sporty. 462, with stage 1 Gessler ported heads, 200R4 trans, with a 2400 lock up. Just added a 3:90 12 bolt to her. The combination works very well together. Also has HO racing suspension kit with 1 3/8 front and rear bars. A/C, pw/ ps/ pdb. When I did it I added 2 rolls of Duramat, in the doors, floor, firewall etc, it is like riding in a new Caddy. No road noise what so ever. It has been to Bowling Green the last 2 years, Iola WI twice, and made a run to Atlanta not too long ago. I average around 17 on the highway with the lock up on. Tony
Tony, were you at the Loren Buick/Pontick show last year with that car? I seem to remember a very similar one with a for sale sign in the window.
This one was mine and if things go well I'll have it back this year thanks to some really cool Buick club members, AL.
Mike, I had it at Loren last year. I also owned the copper colored 70 that was for sale on the board. I traded it to a buddy for a GN. Bruce in Wi ended up with it, then a board member in Ohio I beleive. I bought the other 70 because it had some gorgeous trim on it, and mine at the time was not as good. I have had my sporty for 3 years now. Bought it at Bowling Green. It came out of Mass from another board member, John Massoud. It was originally a Bamboo creme car, 350 2 barrel when I bought it. I have done alot to it since the Loren show last year. I think the big block had only been in it for a couple of weeks at that time. Tony
I must be living under a rock.. ou:
Here's my 72 with the track hood.. :Brow: and how it will look at Salem.
This should be the show hood, but I'm to lazy to swap them every month.
Will Al Wander be the main driver oooooooorrrrrrrr be backup to Dana?
I'll be nice cause it's your Birthday. :moonu:
It will be girl driven, Dana has his own car to drive. p
As for Alan...errrrrrrrrr......well.......he's been kinda quiet lately o No:
Beth, I just thought you were too cool to talk with us wagon folk since you went to the dark side. Tony
Nope not me... never... p
Since you called me Alan.....I'll be nice
Well.....the "word" is that the new mill for BigRed is enroute from TriShield Performance due at my dororstep on Thursday.
Im gonna make an effort to get it in and ready for the trip, but if there's the slightest bit of trouble (not engine trouble....more like I forgot how to put everything back together ou: Or some gremlins creeped into other area's during its 9 month nap o No: ) I'll be hitchin' a ride :ball:
Back on topic.....I WISH this one was mine - it almost was about 8 years ago
Got our fingers crossed over here for ya Alan........ :TU: :TU:
here's a mystery shot...........
the names are changed to protect the guilty
Hey I owned thatwagon once. The stocker I did for it ran out nice. I think that car was a real bad ass at one time. When I aquired it without a motor, I heard the stories about the old mill and rear, and what its history was. I did spend a day removing electric fan relays and fuel pump switches. Tony
p.s. Bethy I am almost ready. Union Grove or Midwest Challenge? Your pic.
Your sportwagon looks great with the stage 2 setup on it :TU:
Any pic's of your interior .Johnno had told me it had buckets an a console and it look like thats what im going with.
THANKS FOR ALL THE PIC'S FROM EVERY ONE YOUR WAGONS LOOK GREAT :3gears:
