Long Tail Turbo 400 with FREE 455

Found this on the Washington, DC Craigslist the other day.
Could be a good buy for someone....

Does look like a deal. Engine looks to be around 1973.

 

It's actually a 1970 engine and Trans.
After posting this lead today I decided to call about it.

I'm going to pick it up tomorrow...

if you wind up stripping the engine to rebuild, I'd be interested in that TCS solenoid bolted to the carb. Not to many people re-use them.

good pick up even if trans needs rebuilt it an easy switch to a short shaft at time

 

Brought it home yesterday!

It's a 1970 SF block with a 7040247 carb.
Good exhaust manifolds, no broken bolts or studs!
It's a 70 BC Turbo 400 that was rebuilt a couple years ago; bright red fluid that smells good. The seller took a wire brush to the Trans case to "fight oxidation."
