Longer wheel studs

    In looking around for longer wheel studs, I came across these. I pulled a GM one out of the rear (12-bolt BTW) and it measured 1-3/8", from under the head to the end. Dorman 610-186 measured 1-1/2" and 610-259 was 1-3/4". 259 was marked with Grade 6 on the head, the others were not marked with a grade. Picked the new ones up at Oreilly. 20170911_162145.jpg

    I used 70s Corvette rear studs when I put rear disc brakes on mine. They were enough longer to compensate for the thicker rotor vs drum.
