My mom bought the 62 in 1964 and they were using the 63-64 plates. I still have them, but to use a "restored" plate, in WA, for a collector registration, they have to be the correct plate for the year of manufacture.

I'm not in a hurry, and I've found a couple online, but I was hoping for a "D** ###" plate. The first D denotes Snohomish County, which is where my mom bought the car. I've found a couple of pairs from other WA counties, but would like to get from Snohomish County, if possible.

This page shows the differences: http://staff.washington.edu/islade/counties/index.htm

    Any leads appreciated

0B204124-114D-4C81-8A0E-384D87E6F4DA.jpeg I’ve got two singles which is all you need for the back
The D plate has the 62 tab you will need
In Nice shape has a lil damage around top screw holes $80

The H plate you would need to buy a
    62 tab
Which are easy to by repop at most swap meets
Plate is s little rougher $50

I’d be open to taking your newer plates as partial trade plus $$ depending on cond
    I’m in Auburn

Ok I’m sure u can find some at Monroe swap in a couple months
I’ve always needed the correct year tabs
But every dol interprets the law different
Got turned away before without the tabs
Maybe the rules have changed too

I'll have to remember Puyallup and Monroe swaps. I'm not in a hurry, but it gives me a reason to check them out.

From the WA DOL's website I linked above:

Then what's the one in Puyallup the following weekend? Is that just a regular swap meet?
