I have a few photos of the engine swap and interior redo. Will dig them out and post them in a day or so.

OK, I took a look today at the engine I took out of the 67 Sportwagon. I have included photos below. The engine is a 340 cu in and as I said above it was running fine when I removed it from the Sportwagon 2 years ago. It would come as shown in photos, needs a carb but intake manifold there. Water pump still on it and exhaust manifolds are off but I have them. As I said before I would give you the engine if you want it and are willing to pay for shipping. My mechanic sends parts all over the country and to Europe and we discussed mounting the engine on a heavy duty pallet and strapping it down. His experience says it will be close to $400 to ship but depends on weight, destination, size. I had an engine plus other parts strapped to a pallet sent to me about three years ago from PA to TX and it was $400.

    Numbers:
    Block. 1374557M. 4 barrel Intake B 13745591. 1 GM. G 8

If you Google: 1967 Buick Sportwagon a complete description of the not only the car but the engine specs are there in detail. It is 340 cu. in. not 300 as I thought before I looked at it today.

Let me know if you are interested.

    Chuck

Boy that engine looks sweet. Too bad that it's a 340. Let me think about how much I value originality and then I'll let you know. Thanks Chuck.

[QUOTE.........but in the Texas summer heat the black heat gain overpowers the factory A/C ..............:)[/QUOTE]

I had an S-10 Blazer, down here in South Florida, and when I had it repainted, I pulled the headliner and used Styrofoam insulation panels glued to the inside of the top. I also changed the compressor pulley to a smaller diameter one. It made a noticeable difference in the cooling ability of the A/C system.
